Mohan Mickey Giri


Social Entrepreneur Mohan Mickey Giri, is originally from far West of Nepal. Born in the cowshed and had an opportunity to fly on airplane before seeing a bicycle to go for the nationwide scholarship at Budhanilkantha School. He received his higher education in Singapore and United Kingdom in scholarship too and believes that good education and experiences changed his life. He has experience on doing business in Asia and in Europe. An energetic strategist with an ambitious dream to create a positive impact in rural Nepal. His motto “ trade not aid” inspires many, connects and gathers talents from the world. He has been involved in various social and sustainable energy projects over the years.

Originally from Japan, she has a life motto of “does not matter how big of small the scale, I’d like to contribute myself to create the positive impact on others”. Her parents are passionate environmentalist and advocate of “organic” style of living, she inherited their passion and has been involving in distribution genuine organic, biodynamic products. Therefore, she especially enjoys working with the team member of Everest Tea Estate who has the same direction to her values and motto.
